Oh man am I jealous. REALLY jealous. AGH! It looks like you met him in a bookstore. Was he signing a book? Or did you just see him randomly and run up to grab this photo 😉
It is indeed! I’m psyched because now I can learn more about how to cook the various cuts of meat or fish available here – easier than trying to figure out the French equivalents for American recipes. Also, he has some great seasonal produce charts and an awesome potato chart. Now I know what kind of potatoes to use to recreate his incredible purée at home!

What did he do with your left arm?
Yes, how did he cook it?
Wow, that’s cool! What’s he like?
So cool. That’s it.
Hopie – Yes, he was signing his new books – I got “Le Tout Robuchon,” and I think it’s just the French cookbook I’ve been looking for!
Morisseau and D.K. – With LOTS of butter, as is his wont.
Sam – Quite softspoken, humble, and an all-around nice guy, as far as I can tell.
Jessica – Yup.
waouh!
🙂
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH, you lucky, lucky girl!!!
Love the photo!!! Christmas come early, eh??? 🙂
p.s. were you nervous with 24 michelin stars next to you???
Anne – You said it!
Jody – I was not at all nervous – the line was 2 hours long and there was free champagne. 😉
Is that the French version of the new book that’s coming out in the USA? I’ve been reading all about it in English — it does look great!
